Ember Mug: keeping your coffee at the temperature you want
Rewriting the ritual of coffee.

Your coffee is just right for about 43 seconds.
That one perfect sip hits, and then the slide begins. Slowly, almost invisibly, it cools into a quiet disappointment. You either drink it fast and distracted, or you microwave it over and over hoping to reclaim that first moment.
It’s a small daily let-down.
Ember saw that and said: what if we stopped settling?
A cold drink during a deep work session doesn’t just mean less caffeine, it breaks your rhythm. During your morning journaling, it pulls you out of the zone. In long meetings, it quietly nags in the background. Ember looked at this not as a heat problem, but as a product design problem.
Most mugs try to trap warmth like a thermos. Ember flipped the script. What if your mug didn’t just hold heat but adjusted it to your liking, sip after sip?
This is what Ember does. It doesn't just hold your drink. It understands it.
Here’s how:
You pour in your tea or coffee, just like always.
Built-in sensors check the current temperature. If the drink starts to cool below your chosen level, a small heater near the bottom turns on and brings it back up.
You can set that perfect number from the app or by tapping the mug directly. Anywhere between 120 and 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Once set, the Ember Mug keeps your drink at that temperature for 90 minutes. If it’s placed on its special charging coaster, it can keep it warm all day.
And when you’re done or step away, the mug goes to sleep on its own, then wakes up when you refill it.
No buzz.
No distractions.
It does its job silently and with care.
Ember doesn't flaunt technology. It doesn’t flash with notifications or shout to be noticed. It wears its brilliance quietly. The surface is smooth and ceramic-coated. Inside, there’s a processor that adjusts heat in real time. You’ll get a gentle alert when your drink hits your ideal temperature.
And if you like things just so, you can even fine-tune settings through the app to match your favorite brew style.
You don’t need to be a gadget lover to enjoy it. Just someone who wants to slow down. Someone who likes their moments to stay steady. Because Ember isn’t just for caffeine. It’s for calm.
Use it during deep work when you don’t want distractions. During long calls where you barely get a second to sip. On cold mornings when you just want to hold onto something warm.
It’s not just a mug anymore.
It’s the one object that adapts to your pace instead of rushing you.
And that’s what makes it feel like a ritual, not a luxury. Ember isn't trying to prove itself. It’s just there, quietly doing something you’ll grow to expect and miss if it’s not around.
Turns out, the most thoughtful thing on your desk doesn’t have a screen. It just holds your drink. And keeps holding the feeling you wanted in the first place.
